6.8 Specifying the Watermarks Tab Settings
Printing a Watermark
You can print specific text in the background as a watermark.

Click the Watermarks tab.

From the drop-down list, select the watermark that you want to print.
– Watermarks can be newly registered. Refer to “Editing a Water-
mark” on page 6-46 for more information.

Specify settings for the following:
– 1st Page Only: By selecting the check box, only the first page
is printed.
– Transparent Text: By selecting the check box, transparent water
marks are printed on the document.
– As Outline Only: By selecting the check box, only the outline of
characters is printed.

If “Booklet” was selected in the “Setup tab”, the watermark is not printed.
