3.11 DRIVE HUB - REGGIANA RIDUTTORI
Removal
1. Place the machine on a firm, level surface.
2. Place a jack adequate enough to support the load
under the machine’s frame at the hub that is to be
removed. Jack up the machine until the tire is off of
the ground.
NOTE: The tire and wheel assembly weighs approximately
867 lbs. (393 kg).
3. Remove the bolts and washers used to secure the
tire and wheel assembly to the hub. Using an ade-
quate lifting device, remove the tire and wheel
assembly.
4. If the hub is a drive hub, tag and disconnect all
hydraulic lines running to the drive motor. Cap or
plug all openings to prevent dirt from entering the
hydraulic system.
NOTE: The drive hub including drive motor weighs approxi-
mately 307 lbs. (139 kg). The non-drive hub weighs
approximately 140 lbs. (63.5 kg).
5. Use an adequate lifting device to support the weight
of the drive hub.
6. Remove the bolts and washers securing the drive
hub to the spindle and remove the drive hub from
the machine.
