3. With the platform in the transport (stowed) position.
a. Drive the machine on a grade, not to exceed the
rated gradeability, and stop to ensure the brakes
hold.
b. Check the tilt indicator light/alarm to ensure
proper operation. The light/alarm should be acti-
vated when tilted at or beyond the values in Table
2-2.
NOTE: When the tilt indicator warning is activated the following
functions are affected;
ANSI/CSA/AUS Spec. - Drive and Lift functions are dis-
abled, platform must be lowered (stowed) to drive out of
tilt condition.
CE Spec. - Drive and Lift function are NOT disabled.
