NOTE: Warnings 0x100 and 0x0040 are counterparts to the same numbered
errors. These conditions are not serious unless the condition persists.
If they persist, an error will be generated.
Likewise, with warnings 0x0008 and 0x0002, if the condition generating
the condition is serious and persistent, other errors — most likely error
0x0080, 0x0040, or 0x0020 — will be generated.
Warning 0x0004 will generate an Error 0x0040 if it enters a region of
the curve when the combination is ambiguous.
