10.3 Drive concept
In the dimensioning step "Drive concept" you preselect the products for the drive axis:
• Gearbox
• Gearbox / motor mounting
• Motor/gearbox: Direct mounting or standard mounting ( 293)
• Motor
• Inverter / motor mounting
• Select built-in unit or decentralised inverter
• Inverters
• Traversing motor control
• Control system ( 354)
The DSD helps with the selection of the right products
and checks the compatibility:
• When you open a drop-down menu, all product
names which are not compatible to a previously
made selection are displayed in grey and in italics.
• If a product is selected that is not compatible, the
DSD offers a possible combination of the products.
You can accept or reject the proposal.
