Chapter 4 Configure the Module
Download the Configuration After you have changed the configuration for a module, the change does not take
effect until you download the new configuration. The software downloads the
entire program to the controller and overwrites any existing programs.
Follow these steps in RSLogix 5000 software to download a configuration.
1. In the upper-left corner of the RSLogix 5000 window, click the controller
status icon and choose Download.
2. On the Download dialog box, click Download.
