Troubleshooting
This chapter provides a checklist to use when troubleshooting your
NRU.
Before You Begin Before you begin, be sure to have the items in the following list:
Documentation
• drive system schematics
• this manual
Tools
• a means to connect AC line power to the drive system
• a device for measuring AC voltages (rms)
• a device for measuring DC voltages
• a device for measuring AC currents
• a device for measuring DC currents
• a device for continuity testing

ATTENTION: To avoid the hazard of electrical
shock, verify that all voltages on the system bus network
have been discharged before attempting to service the
system.
ATTENTION: The NRU contains stored energy
devices. To avoid the hazard of electrical shock, verify
that all voltage on capacitors has been discharged before
attempting to service, repair, or remove an NRU or its
components.
