Wire Segregation Test
Results Tests were conducted to obtain objective comparisons between levels
of segregation. This section describes how the tests were conducted,
the results achieved, and the conclusions reached.
Test Set-up
The tests were conducted using a typical source circuit, victim circuit,
and segregation methods as described below.
Source Circuit
The loads were switched on and off by mechanical switch contacts.
• Omron S82K-03024 switch-mode PSU
• 240V ac contactor (unsuppressed)
• 24V dc contactor (unsuppressed)
• 24V dc resistive load
Victim Circuit
All components were mounted on a zinc plated, steel panel.
