Preparation for Using the Machine

- Paper in too thin/thick thickness;

- Crumpled, fold, creased, or torn paper;

- Paper not used long time after unpacking the wrapping paper;

- Paper with moisture;

- Paper with perforations for ring binder, or perforator slip;

- Paper with too smooth, rough, or uneven surface;

- Surface-processed paper such as carbon paper, thermal paper, and pressure-sensitive

paper;

- Paper by surface treating with gilt or embossing;

- Papers in mixed size;

- Paper in irregular shape (out of square);

- Paper bound with adhesive, staple, or paper clip;

- Paper stuck with stamp, tape, sticker, or adhesive label;

- Paper stuck with stamp, tape, sticker, or adhesive label;

- Twisted or bent paper;

- Art paper, coated paper, or coated paper for inkjet printer.

Auto Tray

If all the papers in currently selected tray have been used during printing, the printing can be

continued by Auto Switch to the other paper tray having the papers in the same size and type.

Tray Switch Order

If Auto Tray is set, the Paper Tray can be selected by the following priority:

Paper Tray 1→Paper Tray 2(option)→Paper Tray 3(option)→Paper Tray 4(option)→ Bypass Tray

Note

- When loading special paper, such as OHP paper, in Bypass Tray, the Auto Tray may

load incorrect paper. In such case, it is recommended to set the paper type except plain

paper in setting in Bypass Tray. For more information, see

Auto Tray Setting

You can set Auto Tray by pressing “YES” for Control Panel Setting → General Setting → Paper/

Tray → Auto Tray Switching.

Pressing “NO” does not allow Auto Tray.
