- When setting customer size paper on, Original size must be set. No size setting may cause
incorrect copy such as image cut.
- Auto Paper Setting allows the paper to be selected automatically in accordance with the
original size. Auto Selection Paper sizes are A3, B4, A4 , A4 , A5 , A5 , B5 , B5 ,
11 ”×17”, LG, LT , LT , HLT .
Other sizes cannot be made auto selection. To set Bypass Paper, press [Paper] and set Paper
Tray or Bypass Tray, having the paper to be used, and the paper type.
Original difficult to recognize the size
The following Original may not be selected by correct size paper, as the Original size is difficult to
be recognized. Select Bypass Paper:
- Original stuck with index or post-it;
- Original in high transparency such as OHP paper or tracing paper;
- Dark original, in whole, with lots of text or picture;
- Original with dark section with wide area in part;
- Original with dark section in the borders of paper;
- Original except A3, B4, A4 , A4 , A5 , A5 , B5 , B5 , 11 ”×17”, LG, LT , LT ,
HLT or Original is set to the Flatbed.
Image Limit
Even if Original is set to the Flatbed or the ARDF correctly, the top and the bottom and the right and
the left (each 5mm) of the Original, toward inside from around Original based on printing orientation,
may not be copied
