Preparation for Using the Machine

Paper Loading onto Bypass Tray
Bypass Tray can be used for printing on the paper with the size out of the paper tray, custom size
paper, postcard, or envelope.
Paper Loading

Open the Bypass Tray on the right of the Machine.

Lift Paper Push Lever (①)up and widen the Paper Guide (②):

Hold the copying side of paper down and push the paper until the top edge or the paper will be
reached to the Paper Tray. Then, adjust the Paper Guide to fit to the paper size:
- If the Paper Guide does not fit to the paper size, it may cause a twist of paper or paper jam.
- Set the paper not exceeding the upper limit. Setting the paper over the upper limit may cause
a twist of paper or paper jam.
- When setting the paper larger than LT open the Extend Paper Tray.
- Stuck papers may cause multi-sheet feed. So, smooth the papers out and set them.
