Install Seed Meters and Wheels
135. If seed meters were separately shipped (check mis-
cellaneous crate, and inside hopper), install them
now.
Refer to “Installing Seed Meters” in the Operator’s Man-
ual.
Row Unit Options
Optional row unit capabilities that are not factory-
installed include their own installation instructions.
Planter Closeout
136. Using the lift assist cylinders, lift the planter and
remove the rear main frame shipping stand. Save it
for customer use.
Equipment Damage Risk:
The planter is now safe to move, forward only, hitch to any 3-
point tractor of sufficient capability. Make no reverse moves
until hitched to the tractor on which the steering sensor is
installed.
