Install Tractor Steering Harness for Linear Sensor
Refer to Figure 82, Figure 83 and Figure 84
22. Select one:
833-437C SWITCH CAB
with integrated power and signal harnesses. Verify
the power switch (“STEER”) is still OFF.
23. Connect the power leads directly to the battery.
24. Route the console harness (with connectors
and ) to the tractor hitch.
25. At the tractor steering sensor just installed,
remove the plastic cap protecting the connector at
the inboard end.
26. Select one:
833-438C HARNESS TRACTOR POSITION
Connect the round connector of the tractor sensor
harness to the steering sensor .
27. Route the steering harness to the rear hitch.
Allow slack at sensor for steering and vertical axle
movement (if possible). Keep cable clear of hot parts
and moving parts of tractor.
Allow slack at hitch for hitch movement.
Secure harnesses with cable ties.
28. Plug the 3-pin weatherpak connector of the steer-
ing sensor harness into 3-pin weatherpak of the
console harness .
