Saving Protocols
Once a protocol is programmed or a pre-set protocol is changed, you have the option to
save the protocol as new user protocol.
To save a protocol as a file, follow these instructions:
1. After programming or editing a protocol, press the Save key to start saving the
protocol.
2. Type in a user name by pressing the alphanumeric keys.
TIP: Press the alphanumeric keys to enter new characters. Press the Shift key
to toggle between letters and numbers. Then press the ENTER key to save the
name. To erase, press the Clear key.
In this example the user name is Mike 15:
3. (Optional) If the user does not exist, then create a new user.
Enter the new user name and press ENTER to accept the name.
4. Enter the name of the Protocol using the alphanumeric keys.
TIP: Press the alphanumeric keys to enter new characters. Press the Shift key
to toggle between letters and numbers. Then press the ENTER or Save key to
save the name. To erase press the Clear key.
5. Press the Save key to save the protocol.
A screen briefly appears verifying the new protocol name:
