4.4.1 Create, Edit and Run in Temperature Method
Step Procedure
Description
1.
Set up the power supply
Refer to Section 3 for instrument setup.
2.
Connect temperature
The Temperature mode may be accessed from any
probe to the back of
screen, except for the run screen, by connecting the
the PowerPac HV
probe.
3.
Attach probe to the
Use the suction cup to attach the temperature probe
electrophoresis cell
to the electrophoresis cell. Make sure the suction
cup remains attached during the run.
4.
The Temperature mode introduction screen appears
automatically.
Press the CONTINUE soft key.
Note: See Section 3.3.4 for additional information
on TEMP PROBE options.
5.
Set temperature limit
Use the alphanumeric keypad to enter the desired
temperature (30°–90°C).
Press the EDIT soft key to continue.
6.
Enter parameters
Use the soft keys to select a parameter and the
keypad to enter its value. To change the constant
value, press its soft key and enter a new value.
LIMITV:
Change the voltage limit value.
LIMITA:
Change the current limit value.
CONSTW: Enter the power constant value.
Note: The constant power value entered will never
be exceeded even if the cell fails to reach the set
temperature.
Press EDIT to continue.
