drive blanks installed.

NOTE:

It is recommended that you use only drives that have been tested and

approved for use with the SAS/SATA backplane.

NOTICE:

Not all operating systems support hot-plug drive installation. See the

documentation supplied with your operating system.

1 Remove the front drive bezel, if attached. See "Removing the Front

Drive Bezel" on page 66.

2 If a drive blank is present in the bay, remove it. See "Removing a Hot-plug

Hard Drive Blank" on page 91.
