Ejecting an MD
Open the MD cover, and pull the MD out from the
slot. If the MD has been loaded inside the unit (i.e.,
the corresponding MD 1-5 button is lit green),
press MD ~ so that the MD is returned to the slot,
and then pull the MD out from the slot.
Before pulling out the power cord
MD recording is completed when the MD Table of
Contents (TOC) is updated. The TOC is updated
when you eject the MD or press l/Ci) (fx>wer) and
turn off the system. Do not pull out the power cord
before updating the TOC (while “TOC" is lit) or
while updating the TOC (while “TOC" is flashing)
to er\sure the complete recording.
If the MD runs out of recording time
The CD player and the MD deck both stop
automatically.
Note
If the MD is record-protected, "Cll" and
"Protected" appear alternately and the MD cannot
be recorded.
Eject the MD, then slide close the tab at the side of
the MD to cover the hole (sec page 35).
