Recording only the
first track
— Hit Parade
You can record the first track of each CD.
This feature is useful when you record single
CDs in succession.
If the MD has been partially recorded,
recording starts after the recorded tracks.

Press HIT PARADE.

Press ENTER/YES.
"SYNC" flashes for a while, and then
remains lit. The MD deck stands by for
recording, and the CD player is in pause
for playing.

Confirm that "SYNC" is now lit,
and then press C>ll for the MD.
Recording starts. The CD player and MD
deck stop automatically when the
recording is completed.
To record from 6 or more CDs
Repeat steps 1 to 4 after changing the CDs.
To cancel recording
Press HIT PARADE.
To stop recording
Press ■ for the MD.
Before pulling out the power cord
MD recording is completed when the MD Table of
Contents (TOC) is updated. The TOC is updated
when you eject the MD or press l/Ci) (power) and
turn off the system. Do not pull out the power cord
before updating the TOC (while "TOC" is lit) or
while updating the TOC (while "TOC" is flashing)
to ensure the complete recording.
