Press MD D.SKIP on the remote
repeatedly until the button of the
desired MD lights green.
If the MD appears in the slot, press ± to
load the MD (to the recording/playing
Unit).

Press MENU/NO so that
"Edit Menu" appears.

Turn MULTI JOG until "All Erase ?"
appears, then press ENTER/YES.
"All Erase??" appears.
Example: Erasing a portion of track 2.

Press ENTER/YES again.
"Complete!!" appears for a few seconds
and the disc title, all recorded tracks and
their titles are erased.
To cancel the All Erase Function
Press I for the MD.
To return to the condition before
erasing
You can return to the original condition
immediately after erasing tracks (see
page 61).
Erasing a portion of a
track (A-B Erase Function)
You can specif)’ a portion within a track and
erase the portion with ease. You can shift the
clesired portion by frame*, minute or second
intervals. This function is convenient when
erasing uimecessary sections after recording a
satellite broadcast or FM broadcast.
* 1 frame is 1/86 second.

switch the function to MD.
