Press 1 /ALL repeatedly to select the
desired CD or MD.

Each time you press the button, the
display changes as follows;

Listening to tracks in a different

If you selected "ALL DISCS'

CD/MD 1 - 5 for the tray or slot
containing the desired CD or MD,

Shuffle Play starts.
While the system is selecting the next
track, the disc number changes
continuously if you selected "ALL
DISCS", or flie track number if you
selected "IDISC".

To cancel Shuffle Play

(If listening to an MD, press ■ to stop playing
first.) Press PLAY MODE so that "SHUFFLE"
disappears.

Tips

• You can start Shuffle Play during normal CD play

by pressing PLAY MODE. All tracks including
those already played are played in random order.

• To skip a track, turn MULTI )OG clockwise (or

press CD/MD on the remote).

Notes

• You cannot use Program Play or Repeat Play for

all tracks during Shuffle Play for "ALL DISCS".

• If you press PLAY MODE to change the play

mode while playing an MD, "Push STOP !"
appears. To change the play mode, press ■ first to
stop play.

Programming the tracks

— Program Play

You can make a program up to 25 tracks
(steps) from all the CDs or MDs in the order
you want them to be played.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly to
switch the function to CD or MD.

Notes

• You cannot make a program with both CD

and MD tracks.

• You can program tracks only while the CD

player or the MD deck is stopped.

Wait

for the total number of tracks and the

playing time to appear, then proceed to the
next step.
