dts Output:

Sets the dts output as to whether the connected amplifier contains
a DTS decoder or not.

[T] At the initial setting screen, select “Audio Output Setting”

by using

Select this option if your DVD player is connected to an ampiifier

which contains DTS decoder.

dts OFF

Seiect this option if your DVD player is connected to an amplifier

which does not contain DTS decoder.

CAUTION

n the AV amplifier is not equipped with a DTS decoder,

do not select “dts” in the “Audio Output Setting” when

connecting the AV amplifier with an optical connecting
cord.

Merely attempting to play a DVD may cause a high level of
noise which could be harmful to your ears and damage the

speakers. In such a case, be sure to select “Down Mix PCM”.

Stereo Mode

Select this option if your DVD player is connected to an amplifier

via an audio cable.

Surround Mode
Select this option if your DVD player is connected via an audio
cable to an amplifier which contains a Dolby Prologic Surround
decoder.
