Sets the default PBC (Play back control) mode on or off for playing

a video CD with PBC function.

Disc Resume

This function has two modes, ON or OFF.
After the power is turned off during playback and is turned on

again, or after the disc is ejected during playback and the same

disc is played back again, playback starts from the previous

stopped point (ON), or piayback starts from the beginning of the

disc (OFF).
The initial setting is OFF.

Demonstration

Sets the demonstration mode which is activate while power off.

When the Disc Resume is ON
After loading a disc by turning on the power or by closing a disc
tray, “RESUME” is displayed on the screen and the player enters
stop mode if the disc has already memorized.

In this condition, playback starts from the previous stopped point

by pressing PLAY.

To start play from the beginning temporarily during Disc

Resume ON
Press STOP in stop mode and then press PLAY to start playback.
“RESUME OFF" is displayed in this case.

The unit maintains the resume data on up to 5 DVD disc and on

up to total of 10 audio CDs and video CDs.

When the 6th DVD disc or the 11th audio CD or video CD is

inserted, the data of oldest disc is deleted and the new disc data
is added even when the Disc Resume is set to OFF,
