4.9 clear counters
Use this command to clear the counters on the interface
Command Syntax
clear counters [interface]
The clear counters command clears all current interface counters from the interface unless you
specify optional arguments that clear only a specific interface type from a specific interface number.
interface: the interface name

Examples
The following example clears the counters on all interfaces.
Switch# clear counters
The following example clears the counters on the interface eth-0-1.
Switch# clear counters eth-0-1
The following example clears the counters on the agg1.
Switch# clear counters agg1

Use this command to set the description on the interface.
To remove the description on the interface, use the no form of this command.

line: the description on the interface
