Preparation for being polled
In order to let other units poll your unit, you must set the documents in the document feeder tray of
your unit.

Set the unit in the TAD/FAX or FAX mode.

Insert the documents FACE DOWN.
Press the POLLING button.
The POLLING indicator lights after flashing.
The unit is ready for being polled.
When the other unit polls your unit, transmission is
carried out automatically.
Note:
•If you want to cancel being polled before transmission, press the POLLING button, then remove
the documents from the unit. The POLLING indicator will go out.
