(Aufnahme-Modus Porträt)
Im Modus „Porträt“ wird die Biende automatisch voil
geöffnet, wodurch die Schärfentiefe sehr gering wird.
Dies hat zur Foige, daß der Biidgegenstand in der
Bildmitte scharf, der Hintergrund (und eventuell auch
der extreme Vordergrund) jedoch unscharf abgebildet
wird.
1 Den Wahlschalter [PROGRAMME AE]
auf [ ] (Aufnahme-Modus Porträt)
stellen
• Die Anzeige [¿'^ ] erscheint im Sucher.
• Durch Heranzoomen des Biidgegenstandes
(durch Drücken des Zoomhebels [W • T] gegen
[T]) wird die Unschärfe des Hintergrundes noch
weiter verstärkt.
■ Zurückschalten auf den normalen
Aufnahme-Modus
Den Wahischalter [PROGRAMME AE] auf [AUTO]
steilen.
Aufhellen von dunklen
Szenen (Aufnahme-Modus
Schwachlicht)
Mit diesem Modus iassen sich schwach beieuchtete
Motive heiler aufnehmen. Wenn dieser Modus jedoch für
Außenaufnahmen unter Tagesiicht benutzt wird, ist das
Ergebnis praktisch gieich wie im normaien
Aufnahmemodus.
2 Den Wahlschalter [PROGRAMME AE]
auf [¿] (Aufnahme-Modus Schwachlicht)
stellen.
• Die Anzeige [^] erscheint im Sucher.
■ Zurückschalten auf den normalen
Aufnahme-Modus

Making Your Subject Stand
out Sharply from the
Background (Portrait Mode)
In the Portrait Mode, the iris is automaticaliy set to the
maximum aperture for a very smail depth-of-field. This
gives you a sharpiy focused subject in the centre of the
picture with a blurred background and foreground.
1 Set the [PROGRAMME AE] Selector to
[
] (Portrait Mode).
•The [fi'^ ] Indication appears in the Finder.
•Zooming in on the subject by pushing the [W • T]
Zoom Lever toward [T] increases the biurring of
the background.
■ Returning to the Normal Recording Mode
Reset the [PROGRAMME AE] Selector to [AUTO].
Recording Dark Scenes More
Brightly (Low Light Mode)
With this function, you can record dimly iit subjects more
brightly. However, even if you use this mode for outdoor
recording in the daytime, the resuit wiii be practicaliy the
same as when recording in the normai mode.
2 Set the [PROGRAMME AE] Seiector to
[^] (Low Light Mode).
•The [^] Indication appears in the Finder.
■ Returning to the Normal Recording Mode
Reset the [PROGRAMME AE] Seiector to [AUTO].
