USING THE DATABASE
MANAGER
The Database Manager is a separate software program which is auto-
matically installed in the same directory as your VISCPRO
® software.
The Database Manager provides options for managing the VISCPRO ®
database, including functions for:

archiving old data

importing archived data to the working database

changing the database directory

repairing/compacting the database
The Database Manager interface
Periodic archiving CANNON ® Instrument Company recommends periodic archiving of
sample data to limit the size of the operating database and enhance the
software response speed when generating analyses and accessing the
database.
