MENU LEVEL & OPTION DESCRIPTION
SETUP MENU
Password Allows password to be entered.
Once the valid password (159) is entered, options in
the Setup, Configuration and Tuning Menus can be
modified.
Language Permits selection of English, Spanish or French for
displayed messages. Default is English.
Time Displays time from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm.
Date Displays dates from 01/01/00 to 12/31/99
Unit of Temp Permits selection of temperature displays in degrees
Fahrenheit (°F) or degrees Celsius (°C). Default is
°F.
Comm Address For RS-485 communications (0 to 127). Default
address is 0. RS-232 should have its own
(programmable) password.
Baud Rate Allows communications Baud Rate to be set (2400
to 19.2K). Default is 9600.
Min Upload Timer Mandatory for AERCO OnAER Remote Data
Collection (ORDC). This parameter enables ORDC
and defines the minimum amount of time between
heartbeat data uploads in seconds. The COMM LED
will light during the upload.
Unit Alpha Displays the first alphabetical character of the boiler
serial number [G (for “Gas-Fired”)]
Unit Year Displays the year in which the boiler was
manufactured (00 – 99)
Unit Serial # Displays the boiler numerical serial number (0000 –
9999). See the “Sample” serial # format below for a
boiler manufactured in 2013:

Software Version Identifies the current software version of the control
box (Ver 0.0 to Ver 9.9).
Internal Setpoint Allows internal setpoint to be set. Default is 130°F.
Unit Type Allows selection of KC Boiler, KC Boiler LN, BMK
