Press the

button so that Computer Plus will highlight the capacitor which can be connected by

pressing button

or which can be disconnected with button

(Fig. 120 shows step 4 as

connected and step 4 as selected), showing the theoretical kvar (kvarC1 T) and real kvar (kvarC1 R) on
two columns. Each capacitor can be checked individually to see if the expected capacity is met. The
connection and disconnection of steps is carried out within 2 seconds.

To exit this menu, press press

Esc .

To return to the main menu from the Test menu, press Menu.

CONNECTION OF COMPUTER PLUS WITH CPC3I CARDS

The regulators of the Computer plus TF-C and TF-CDI series have been designed to control static
capacitor banks, in conjunction with the operation of CPC3i-xRS cards.

The connection of Computer plus TF to the card is carried out through channel RS-485, in accordance
with the 13-1 connection table. See the terminal connection diagrams on Fig. 121 and 122.
