4 Operation - Expert level
4.1 Commissioning wizard
The commissioning wizard which starts when the
controller is activated is intended for programming
the controller for use on the existing system. When
the individual parameters are activated or deacti-
vated, corresponding parameter sets are uploaded
automatically, although they are not visible. After
commissioning has been fully completed, the
default set of parameters is enabled. During the
first heating period the thermal characteristics of
the system should be observed, and the parame-
ters optimised as necessary. The lower the
selected water temperatures, the more efficient
operation of the heat pump will be.

on page 38
Should you require the installation wizard again at
a later point in time (e.g. if you are expanding the
existing system), then you can also call it up man-
ually at any time from the main menu.
Proceed with installation as follows:

the next setting with "Next"
Assigning the unique unit identifier
Here you can address up to 3 Smart-Control units.
Select the unit identifier with the rotary knob and
confirm the entry with "OK". The unit ID number
appears before a red, flashing field in the top right
of the display.
