The valid FC-AL address ID range is a number 0 through 125 decimal, which is 0
through 7D hexadecimal. The following figures and table locate the switches and
show how to select ID numbers using them.

3. Set the PFC500’s chassis address (CA) switch to 0 using the tip of a pen or a paper
clip as shown in the following illustration.
To access the CA switch, you must open the PFC 500/E’s front door. The chassis
address, referred to as the back-end address, identifies the PFC500/E and
determines disk module addresses. The PFC 500 chassis address must be set to 0.
