OPTION ACCESSIBILITY: Through any serial computer port.

By responding to the Enter Request: message at the end of the main
configuration menu (see

Section 8.1

) with capital "C" for any serial

module or capital "B" for the M24SII-V02 high speed parallel module
(Program Default Printer Assignment), you may configure Default
Printer Assignment for each individual computer port. The Default
Printer Assignment consists of the module number and port number
the desired printer is connected to. After initial power-up, if a
particular computer sends a print job without a port select sequence,
the print job will automatically be routed to the default printer
module/port.

NOTE: The Default Printer Assignment for printer ports will be the
module number and port number the printer is connected to on the
Model 24SII DES.

The Model 24SII DES will respond with:

Enter Port Number (ENTER=Exit) :

Enter the number of the computer port for which you wish to change
the Default Printer Assignment. For example, if you enter "3" for Port
3, the Model 24SII DES will respond with:
