16 Remaining media memory displays

The amount of memory remaining on the
card in the slot targeted for recording is
displayed when “ONE CARD” is selected
as the “P2 CARD REMAIN” item setting on
the setting menu “DISPLAY SETUP” screen.
The target slot can be switched to another
slot using “SLOT SEL” assigned to [USER].
When “TOTAL” is selected, the total amount
of memory remaining on the two cards is
displayed.

The card slots in which P2 cards have been
inserted and the basic information on the slots
are displayed.

18 Monitor volume level meter

When [PAGE/AUDIO MON/VAR] is pressed,
the level of the volume which is output from
the internal speaker and headphone jack is
displayed. You can adjust the volume level
using the [+] and [–] buttons.

Warning displays

LOW BATTERY
No operation is possible because the battery

charge is depleted.

INCOMPATIBLE CARD
The card complies with the different standard and

so it cannot be used.

COPY INHIBITED
The input signals are copy-guarded so they

cannot be recorded correctly.

DIR ENTRY NG CARD
The card contains folders which are organized

illegally. It cannot be used for special types of
recording (interval recording, one-shot recording
or loop-rec). A warning will be displayed when
this P2 card is inserted into a P2 device or when
recording has ended.

RUN DOWN CARD
The P2 card has reached the end of its service

life. It is recommended that you replace it. Even
when a warning appears, it can still be used for
recording or playback. However, a warning will
be displayed when this P2 card is inserted into a
P2 device or when recording has ended.

FORMAT ERR !
The card does not comply with the P2 standard.

CANNOT ACCESS!
Data cannot be accessed because of a problem

in the content or for some other reason. Restore
the media or clips to the normal operating status,
and then use the data.

WRITE PROTECTED!
The P2 or SD card is write-protected. Insert a

media on which data can be saved.

NO CARD!
The P2 or SD card has not been inserted. Insert

a media which is supported.

CARD FULL!
There is no more free memory on the P2 or SD

card. Insert a media with free memory.

CANNOT DELETE !
Data cannot be deleted because of a mismatch

in the content versions. Ensure that the same
content version as the device is used.

CANNOT FORMAT!
The P2 card cannot be formatted because of a

problem. Check the P2 card.

CANNOT REPAIR!
The content cannot be repaired because there

is nothing wrong with it or because of a similar
reason. Check the selected content.

CANNOT RE-CONNECT!
Clips cannot be reconnected because content

which is contained on no more than one card has
been selected or because of a similar reason.
Check the selected content.

NO COPY TO SAME CARD!
Data cannot be copied because the same card

is being used for the copy source and copy
destination. Copy the data onto a card which
does not contain the selected clip.

TOO MANY CLIPS!
Too many clips have been selected. Reduce the

number of clips which have been selected.
