Scale/Rates:
Differential Trip
Weight

Use this option to set the minimum weight that a piece of mail must weigh
in order to use the differential weighing mode to print postage on a tape or
on a piece of mail. For more information on differential weighing, refer to
the Select the Postage Mode section in 4 - Running Mail in this guide.

1. Press the Menu key on the control center and select Set Up. Press the

down arrow key and select Scale/Rates.

2. Select the Diff Weigh Trip Weight option and use the numeric keypad

to enter the trip weight.

3. Press the Enter key to set the weight.

Scale/Rates:
Location Code

Use this option to enter your geographical location code. You must enter
this code so that your mailing system can calibrate (set to zero) the scale
correctly.

1. Press the Menu key on the control center and select Set Up. Press the

down arrow key and select
Scale/Rates.

2. Select Location Code and then use the numeric keypad to enter the

code supplied by Pitney Bowes.

Press the Help key for a list of codes.

3. Press Enter.

down arrow key and select Scale/Rates.

2. Press the screen key for the AutoScale selection to toggle between

On and Off.

3. Press Clear or press the left arrow to exit.

Scale/Rates:
Autoclear

Use this option to specify how you want your mailing system to clear Zone
and Class information when you add a new piece of mail to the scale.

1. Press the Menu key on the control center and select Set Up. Press the

down arrow key and select
Scale/Rates.

2. To clear Class information, select Class set to None when new

mailpiece is placed on scale.

3. To clear the Zone information, select Zone is cleared when new

mailpiece is placed on scale.

4. Press Enter.
