Install the envelope feeder
onto the tray as shown.

Adjust the media guides to the
length and width of the enve-
lopes.

Make sure the guides
are snug enough to
keep the envelopes
straight, but not so tight
that they buckle the
envelopes.

Place the envelope stack into
the tray with the printing-side up.

Slide the media tray back into the printer.
The media tray must be located in the upper position, not in the optional
lower input feeder.
Japanese Postcard Feeder
A postcard feeder allows you to print on standard Japanese-size postcards.

This feeder is available only on the 100 volt model in the upper
media tray.

In the printer driver (Paper tab, Paper Type option), select Thick Stock.

On the control panel, press the Media key to select printing on thick stock,
if necessary.

Place the postcards on a flat surface, and flatten them by pressing down
the corners.

Flex the postcard stack (including the edges) to remove any stiffness.

Correct any bent corners, and then tap the postcards on a flat surface to
align them.

Remove the upper media tray from the printer (and remove any media in
the tray).
The postcard feeder can be installed only in the upper media tray.
