Increase the output to 80mA

Output on the Impulse 4000 is 80mA or +/- 5mA.

Increase the output to 140mA.

Output on the Impulse 4000 is 140mA or +/- 7mA. Pulse width is 40mS +/-
2mS.

Decrease the output to 60mA.

Decrease the rate to 30 ppm.

Pacer rate on Impulse 4000 is 29-31 ppm.

Increase the rate to 180ppm.

Pacer rate on Impulse 4000 is 177-183 ppm.

Connect the ECG cable to the R Series and
Impulse 4000. Select the ECG at 60 BPM on
the Impulse 4000.

ECG at 60 BPM is seen on the display and no stimulus markers.

Press the Async Pace softkey.

ECG at 60 BPM seen on the display with the pace stimulus markers displayed.
Async pace message displays.

Turn off Impulse 4000. Set Pacer Rate to
100ppm. Press the RECORDER ON button.

Observe the pace stimulus markers every 15mm +/-1mm.

Press and hold 4:1 button.

Observe the pace stimulus markers every 60 mm+/- 1.5 mm.
