Print the supplies status page

The supplies status page indicates the estimated life remaining in print cartridges. It also lists the part

number for the correct genuine HP print cartridge for your product so you can order a replacement

print cartridge, as well as other useful information.

Open the following menus:

Administration

Reports

Configuration/Status Pages

Select the

Supplies Status

option, and then touch the

Print

button to print the report.

The following table contains important information about supplies status messages.

Description

Recommended action

10.XX.YY Supply memory error

The product cannot read or write to at least
one print cartridge memory chip or a
memory chip is missing from a print
cartridge.

XX values

00 = Memory chip memory error

10 = Memory chip missing

YY values

00 = Black print cartridge

Reinstall the print cartridge, or install a new
print cartridge.

Black Cartridge low

The product indicates when a supply level is
low. Actual print cartridge life might vary.
You do not need to replace the print
cartridge at this time unless print quality is no
longer acceptable.

If print quality is no longer acceptable,
replace the print cartridge. Consider
purchasing a replacement cartridge so it is
available when the installed cartridge has
reached the end of its estimated life.

Black Cartridge very low

The product indicates when a supply level is
very low. Actual print cartridge life might
vary. You do not need to replace the print
cartridge at this time unless print quality is no
longer acceptable. After an HP supply has
reached the very low threshold, the HP
premium protection warranty for that supply
has ended.

If print quality is no longer acceptable,
replace the print cartridge. Consider
purchasing a replacement cartridge so it is
available when the installed cartridge has
reached the end of its estimated life.
