Make sure that you entered the correct
RCU port number. Correct the port
number if necessary.
Make sure that the MCU and RCU are
physically connected.
For Fibre Channel interface, make sure
that the Fibre Channel topology settings
of the MCU and RCU ports are correct.
The specified port in the RCU is
physically disconnected from the
MCU. RCU Port Number Mismatch
Make sure that the port in the RCU
configured as an RCU target port.
Configure the port as an RCU target
port if necessary. The specified port in the RCU is not
configured as an RCU Target port. RCU Port Type Mismatch
Make sure that the RCU port and
remote copy connection hardware
(cables and switches) are properly
configured and functioning. The MCU connects to the RCU
successfully, but logical
communication time out occurred. Communication failed.
Delete the error path.
Make sure that you entered the correct
port number. Make sure that the cable
is connected.
The specified port number is not
correct, or the cable is not connected
to the specified port. Port Number Mismatch
Delete the failed path. Communication between the MCU
and RCU through the fibre path timed
out. Communication Error
Repair the port status on the MCU. MCU Port does not work. Logical Blockade
Repair the port status on the RCU. And
then delete the path with Edit Path or
Delete RCU, and add the path again
with Edit Path or Add RCU. RCU Port does not work.
Repair the path relay equipment. And
then delete the path with Edit Path or
Delete RCU, and add the path again
with Edit Path or Add RCU. The path relay equipment does not
work.
Replace the broken cable. And then
delete the path with Edit Path or Delete
RCU, and add the path again with Edit
Path or Add RCU. The connection cable is physically
broken.
Delete the path with Edit Path or Delete
RCU, and add the path again with Edit
Path or Add RCU. Program error is detected. Program Error
Delete the failed path. You may need
to change the minimum paths setting or
delete the RCU in order to delete the
path. Then add the path/RCU using
