Setting the Host
Name

You change the host name for a remote HP EFS WAN Accelerator in the Hostname
page.

Control

Description

Local Configuration

Hostname/IP Address. To modify the host name or IP address, type a new value in the
text box.

Auto-config. Select Defer to Group’s Setting, Enable, or Disable from the drop-down
list to set auto-configuration preferences.

Backup. Select Defer to Group’s Setting, Enable, or Disable from the drop-down list
to set backup preferences.

Config Pushes. Select Defer to Group’s Setting, Enable, or Disable from the drop-
down list to set configuration push preferences.

Comment. Type a description if you want the description to appear in the appliance list.
For example, you might want to describe any overrides you have applied.

Authentication

Username. To modify the user name of the remote administrator user, type a new value
in the text box. This is the same user name that is required when logging into the
appliance directly. Typically, this user name is admin.

Password. To modify the password for the remote user, type a new value in the text box.
This is the same password that is required when logging into the appliance directly.

Groups. Displays the groups to which the appliance belongs.

Appliance Profile

Expand the Appliance Profile list to display the profiles associated with the appliance.

Appliance Specific Commands

Expand the Appliance Specific Commands list to display any CLI commands that are in
addition to common profile commands.
