Remedy
Sudden stop during film transport
Loop sensor and reflex protector
Clean with ARRI maintenance tools.
on left loop box dirty
with film dust.
Emulsion build-up in film channel.
Remove emulsion build-up from film pressure stage,
film track, deflection runner 1 and 2 and from film
pressure plate, using ARRI maintenance tools.
Operation too noisy
Improper length of film loop.
Open film channel and slightly tension film loop
manually by turning the two winding plates.
Then close film channel.
If fault still exists, call service engineer.
Film transport speed malfunctioning
Setting on master control knob
Call ARRI Service station.
doesn’t correspond to selected frame rate.
Autostop malfunctioning
Wrong film core.
Use correct film core diameter.
Film core diameter must correspond
to the one selected in
“Mode” function (Bobby Size).
