IP Filter

Purpose:

To specify the reception of data from certain IP addresses for blocking. You can set up to five IP addresses. The change

becomes effective after the printer is turned off and then on again.

Values:

Filter n

(n is 1 to 5.)

Address

Sets the IP address for Filter n.

Mask

Sets the mask for Filter n.

Mode Off*

Disable the IP Filter feature for Filter n.

Accept

Accepts an access from specified IP address.

Reject

Rejects an access from specified IP address.

Init NVRAM

Purpose:

To initialize network data stored in NVRAM.

Adobe Protocol

Purpose:

To specify PostScript communication protocol for each interface. You can configure Adobe Protocol settings for

Network. The change becomes effective after the printer is turned off and then on again.

Values:

Auto*

Used when auto-detecting the PostScript communication protocol.

RAW

Used when no special processing is required for data.

Standard

Used when the communication protocol is in ASCII interface.

BCP

Used when the communication protocol is in binary format.

TBCP

Used when the communication protocol supports both ASCII and binary data to switch between them

according to the specified control code.

USB

Use the USB menu to change printer settings affecting a USB port.
