To Add a Mix Design

1. Press Add: the CB2 will display Accessing, and then will have a screen displaying Mixes.

Ingredients:

2. With Mix Id flashing use the numeric keypad to select a number for the new Mix Id and press enter.

Make certain the new number is not used previously.

3. The menu will now have Mix Code flashing. Use the numeric keypad to select a number for the new Mix

Code and press enter. Make certain the new number is not used previously.

4. With description flashing, press the change soft key. The lower display will read “New Description =>”

with flashing curser. If you have an external key board, simply type the description or name of the new

mix and press enter.
If you do not have an external key board, press the up arrow to enable the letter choices. Use the up,

down, left and right arrows to select the character you need and then press enter for each character. After

the letter and number selection is finished move the description arrow down to where the curser is

flashing “New Description” on the bottom of the display and press enter.

5. Total yards batched will be flashing on the display. This number is entered by the system.
6. Arrow down to maximum batch size. Enter the maximum batch size parameter and press the enter key.
7. At this time Weighment System will be flashing. US and Metric softkeys will be displayed. Press the

selected softkey.

8. The next three selections Price, Slump and Mixing Time can be entered. Price and Slump entries will be

used for batch ticket information. Mixing Time is required when mixer control is enabled.

9. Use the down arrow to select Ingredients. Ingredients will be flashing.You can either use the right arrow

or press the ingredients soft key. The mix number will be followed by the ingredient number. For

example step number 301 is mix number “3” ingredient “01”.
The display should read:

Mix Number : Step Number : 301

(flashing) Material ID : 0

Target Weight : 0.00

Below this you should have soft keys: Store, Material ID, and Cancel. Press the Material soft key to

choose a material. A list of materials will be displayed with an arrow next to one of the materials. Use the

down arrow on the keypad to select the material you would like to add and hit the enter key. The material

can also be entered by entering the material number under the prompt “Material ID” located in the

bottom left portion of the display. “Target weight” will now be flashing.

Use the numeric key pad to enter the target weight of that material and press enter. You will see the

Target Weight has been updated, Press the Store soft key. Now the CB2 will display “Mixes” along with

your new Mix ID and “Ingredients” will be flashing.
To add additional ingredients push the ingredients softkey or the right arrow button. Push the add softkey

and repeat step nine for each ingredient. After the last ingredient is entered hit the exit softkey. You will

now see the mix design on the display. Push the “Store” softkey and exit to the batch screen.
