10.6 Changing the Location of a Material

Materials and their physical locations are defined under:

Admin Menu

Databases

Materials / Locations

Material Database:

Materials are identified by a material ID number and a name. Material type, material class, preacts and jogs are

defined for each material as well as other miscellaneous parameters. The material ID number is what is used to

identify the material in the “Ingredient” section of the mix design.

Location Database:

Locations are identified by a location number and name. The physical location of a material is defined here.

“Material” is a parameter located in the database. The material number entered here will be associated with the

delivery mode, digital outputs and setpoints structured to measure and discharge the required amount.
Concrete batching facilities may or may not have enough storage area for a material in one physical location. The

ability to modify the location of a material can make the creation of mix designs much easier. One material

number (name) can be used for all mixes by simply changing the physical location.
