Interface Specification

Data Output

The data output can be activated either manually when a print command is
received, automatically synchronized with the display, or at defined intervals
(see application programs and autoprint settings).

Data Output by Print Command The print command can be transmitted by pressing

a

or by a software command

(Esc P).

Automatic Data Output In

autoprint

mode, data is output to the data interface port without an extra print

command. Data can be output automatically synchronized to the display or at
defined intervals, with or without stability.
The interval time depends on the balance operating status and balance type.
If the automatic data output is activated in the Device Configuration, it starts
immediately after the balance is turned on.

Formats

You can output the values displayed in the line for measured values and weight
units with or without an ID code. The output format is configured in the device
settings (see “Printout" on page 28).

Example: Output without ID

+ 253 pcs

(16 characters output with “SBI" only)

Example: Output with ID

Qnt + 253 pcs (22 characters output – with printer and “PC spreadsheet/

text format" always with ID)

Data Output Format with 16 Characters
Characters that are blank on the display are printed as spaces.
Display values without a decimal point are printed without a decimal point.
