What to Do When Your Telephone Rings
If your machine is set for manual reception and the telephone rings,

Lift the handset.
If you hear a beep beep - beep sound,
it means someone wants to send a fax.
Or,if the caller answers and says he/she
wants to send a fax, then —

Remove a document from the ADF, if any.
START
Your
machine
starts
receiving
a
document.
Hang up the handset.
If the other station has an ID, it will appear
on the display.
