password, then tap OK twice.

Figure 27-5: Online Frame with Locked Presets and Password Removed

The open green lock displayed in Figure 27-5

identifies the preset is locked but no password is

set. Setting a FRAME PASSWORD will lock the

preset again.

27.3.2.8 Exclude/Include Labels [F9]

Presets may be set to exclude the Frame label and Dante device name by using the EXCLUDE LABELS
function. When the Exclude Labels function has been activated for a Preset (indicated by a crossed tag icon
as shown on Presets 2+4 in Figure 27-5), the Frame label and Dante device name will not be changed from
the existing setting when the Preset is recalled.

The Exclude/Include Labels function works on individual and multiple presets in bank files and online frames
based on the currently selected preset or presets.

This function is available only via the Preset Manager utility, but the Exclude Labels status for each Preset is
visible via the Lake Controller as shown in Figure 7-3 on page 113.

By default Presets are set to Exclude Labels when being transferred

between a bank file and an online frame. If the Frame label and Dante

device name is specifcially required, use the Include Labels function to

manually change this setting per Preset.

27.4 Working with Bank Files

A bank file is a software file, stored on a computer or external storage device, that contains the details for all
presets on a device. It can be used as a backup file, as well as to transfer presets between devices. For LM
and PLM Series devices, a bank file is specific to each device type; for PLM+ and D Series devices the bank
files are compatible across all device and model variations.
