Use the “ipv6” command to display and configure IPv6 settings.

lpr

Use the “lpr” command to view and configure LPR settings.

msh> lpr

Checking host name when deleting the job

msh> lpr chkhost {on|off}

If “on” is selected, you can delete print jobs only from the IP address of the host that sent the print job.

If LPR is disabled, you can also delete print jobs sent from IP addresses other than that of the host.

Printer Error Detection Function

lpr prnerrchk {on|off}

If you set this to “on”, the printer stops receiving data and will wait until the error is resolved before
continuing processing a job.

netware

Use the “netware” command to configure the NetWare settings such as the print server name or
file server name.

Netware printer server names

msh> netware pname “character string”

• Enter the NetWare print server name using up to 47 characters.
