12.3 Solid State Temperature

and Humidity Probe

This sensor combines two transducers into a
single probe allowing for the measurement of both
temperature and relative humidity to be made
simply and quickly.

The relative humidity transducer is based on a
Capacitive element using “Thin Film” technology,
while the temperature transducer uses a Ceramic
based “Platinum Resistance Wire” technology.

The relative humidity readings are temperature
compensated to reduce the error due to changes
in ambient temperature.
