Verification upon reception

Check the following when you receive the unit:

• The unit's specifications are according to your order.

• The unit has not been damaged during transport.

• Perform external visual inspection of the equipment before connecting

• Check that the supply voltage corresponds to the network where the equipment must be

connected

• The entire equipment set consists of:

CIR-e³ Measurement unit

-

SD Card with a minimum capacity 1Gb.

-

Kit of three current clamps (depends on model)

-

Kit of 6 power supply and voltage cables (2 m).

Crocodile clips.

RS-232 Communications cable.

SD Card reader.

Use always the original supplied cables and accessories. CIRCUTOR is not
responsible for the malfunction or safety problems occurred in case of using
NON ORIGINAL accessories.

1.1 Storage

For storage of the equipment follow the following recommendations:

• Avoid placement on uneven surfaces.

• No place outdoors, exposed to moisture or water spray areas.

• Do not install near heat sources (maximum ambient temperature: 45 º C)

• Avoid salty and corrosive environments.

• Avoid locating the equipment in areas where much dust is generated or existing pollution

by chemicals or other types of pollution.

• Do not place any weight on the apparatus.

DESCRIPTION OF CIRe

3

CIR-e³ is a portable equipment which offers the most advanced performance features in the
market for the measurement and recording of electrical parameters in electrical networks.

Mechanically, the equipment has been designed to allow installation in areas with limited space.
Specifically it can be installed inside the double insulation boxes where single or three phase
energy meters are installed. The outer dimensions are: 125 x 127 x 47 mm.
