Dynamic DNS
The Dynamic DNS page lets you use the Dynamic DNS services supplied by DynDNS (www.dyn.com) to dynamically assign and relay Domain Name Ser-
vice (DNS) information. The Dynamic DNS service can let you access the devices on your 2247-N8 gateway by domain name, which can make access to
servers or devices on your network easier.

How to -
use the Dynamic DNS function of the 2247-N8:
Open the
Broadband > Dynamic DNS
page.
Note:
Use of Dynamic DNS requires a qualified service account with a dynamic DNS service supplier.
1. Click the Enable DynDNS pull-down menu and turn Dynamic DNS On (enabled) or Off (disabled). If Dynamic DNS is On, continue with the proce-
dure, otherwise, click the
Save
button to turn Dynamic DNS off.
