end of the line.

next round loser points.

Enhancements

-

Send class name with driver name to timer for display on log printout.

-

Allow backing up and restoring the CARS data files to/from diskette as well as the hard
drive.

-

Added a utility to clear times for a vehicle/category for a single round or all rounds.

-

Added the ability to do team points. Enter teams into the system and simply, enter team
designation (alphanumeric character) for drivers in registration record. The team points are
configured in the category configuration screen.

-

Validate vehicle numbers coming from the C33 timer. Vehicle numbers must be either 0-9,
A-Z, or a space.

-

Added the ability to pull up a list of who got closest to their dial-in to keep track of BYES
for eliminations.

-

Allow configuring whether automatic entry of vehicles should be done by the comm_task().

-

When bumping a vehicle, ask for who should replace the bumped vehicle.

-

Added the ability to use a Wyse 35/35+ as announcer monitor.

Added the ability to keep current category information in memory.

-

In bracket racing(ladder round = 8), CARS will now check to make sure a vehicle number
requested by the C33/C44 has lost in a previous round and is trying to slip back into the
event. If the vehicle has lost, CARS will beep three times and send the message “*LOST
PREVIOUSLY*” for the driver name to the timer. Thus, the timer operator can be alerted
that the vehicle entered should not be allowed to race.
